I started beading 10 years ago when I stumbled upon some jewelry making books. Basically a self-taught artist, I developed the interest from beginner level of jewelry making to specialising in wired jewelries.

Throughout the years, the passion grew and with support from families and friends, the passion has grown into a full time.

In 2004, I started my online website and spreading my knowledge by teaching at local community centers, clubs, private functions, corporate companies, beadshops and in private classes. The opportunity to teach others is a daunting task but an exciting one. I am thrilled to show others my skills and hopes to see you in one of my classes soon.

The Art of Jewelry Making - Beading Classes

Chain Of Beads offers a series of basic and intermediate jewelry-making lessons to students with or without experience. In each class, students will be able to understand and learn the various methodologies available to make their own beaded jewelries.

If you are interested in learning the skills of Beaded Jewelry, classes are offered on a 01 to 03 students per session. Alternately, classes are also available at Beads Etc, located at Shaw Centre, Orchard. Please email for more details.

Basic Stringing
New to jewellery making and don’t know where to begin? Let Chain Of Beads guide you along by helping you to master the basic of stringing. Come learn to design yourr first necklace, crimp the ends, add a clasp and get an overview on materials and tools!

A program suitable for beginners, it is a duration of 2 hours and you will be making a strand of necklace and bracelet to bring back at the end of the class.

Basic Wirework
If you have done basic stringing this is the perfect next step! In this program you will learn to manipulate wire or pins to create wire wrap loops (closed loop) and how the technique can be used in projects to make your own decorative chain links, incorporate chain, and better secure your findings.

A program suitable for beginners, it is a duration of 2 hours and you will be making a pair of earring to bring back at the end of the class.

Basic Wire Wrapping
This program will equip beginners whom have no experience with wires to work with them and make loop and wrap to secure them better. Students will have the knowledge of what is the size of wire to work with for different applications, and replacing pin works with wires.

A definite beginner step for anyone whom love to work with wires!

Briolette Wrapping
Wants to move onto something more with wirework? You can learn how to beautifully wire wrap top-drilled briolette or teardrop beads with this beginner skill and see for yourself how fun it will be when you combine it with your basic stringing and basic wire wrapping!

A program suitable for beginners to intermediate, it is a duration of 2 hours.

Herring Bone Weaving
Herring Bone Weaving helps to hold the beads together while at the same time has weaving forms surrounding your beautiful pieces. Using Crafting wires, you can learn this technique and incorporate this as pendant, or design a whole piece of jewellery using this!
A program suitable for intermediate learners, it is a duration of 2 hours and you will be making a pair of earring to bring back at the end of the class.

Bead Bezel Wire Wrapping
Bead Bezel Wire wrapping uses coiling method and forms a frame around each bead, and ends with a coiled bail that comes down with figure 8 weaving.

Using crafting wires, you can learn this technique and incorporate this as a pendant, or design a whole piece of jewelry using this.

This program is suitable for students that have Basic Wirewrapping experience and interested to move on to more types of wirework.
